Nothing

I got nothing done on this blouse this week. I am hoping to get some more done later today. Just seems I don't have alot of time these days. I go to exercise twice a week. I try to work on my cross stitching a few times a week, work full time and take my legally blind husband around where he needs to go, he is also on a special diet so I cook for him alot too.(everything has to be made from scratch, no sugar, no flour, no dairy and no presevatives, sure makes cooking a challange.) I plan on getting back to my sewing this evening. I really don't have alot left to do.

A couple hours work

I have been working on this blouse for a couple of hours, I don't sew fast at all, at least not with this machine and not at the table that I sew at, it wobbles around cause the floor is uneven. I guess I need to find a better place to put it.

Here are a couple of more pictures that I took of my progress.
I seemed to have problems getting the front part done, I hope that it will look ok when its done. For some reason it looks faded with the upclose picture.

Material and Pattern

Here is the material that I will be using to make this blouse.

I have it cut out into pieces

My Machine

This is my machine, I haven't used it in a while, so I hope that it still works o.k. I want to get a new Janome machine maybe this summer, but for now this will have to do.

I am just getting this blog started, so first I will share a litte about myself.
I live in Warsaw Indiana.
Here is a little info about Warsaw:
Warsaw is the county seat of Kosciusko County (558 square miles) in Northcentral Indiana located at the intersection of U.S. 30 and S.R. 15.
The small town of Warsaw, Indiana, is home to three major manufacturers of artificial joints--Zimmer Holdings, Biomet, Inc. and DuPuy.
Its also home to CoCo Wheats breakfast cereal, the first flavored hot cereal food (1930). Little Crow Foods has been family-owned since 1903.
Warsaw is also home to the world's largest printing presses operated by R.R. Donnelley, the largest commercial printer in the United States.

I haven't sewed in a few years and I want to start sewing a few things again. I will use this blog to show my progress. I work in a factory that makes furniture for RV's. I put fabric sets together for the sewers that will make into a couch or chair. I also put the zippers in the cushions. Its a pretty easy job, I like it.
